RMO Day 8 - Every cloud has a silver lining

I’m easing into it. This period gives us time to reflect, ponder and take action.
At the beginning of it all, the fear of being alone with your own thoughts could be a little overwhelming. But when you are ready, you take a step back, sit down and address the real problems.
When you dig deeper into the roots of your fear, you begin to understand more of yourself each day. When you approach your inner demons not with the intention to fight them but to understand them,
you see the light. You become more sensitive to your own feelings and begin to replace your negative thoughts that breed resentment with more rational thoughts.
These downtimes, if used wisely, could do our minds and souls more good than you’d ever know.

I now appreciate freedom more than ever. I’d never take simple moments like hanging out with my friends and family for granted.
I’m not as shy to express my feelings to my loved ones... can’t remember the amount of times I said I LOVE YOU and I MISS YOU to my friends and fam (please don’t get bored of me saying them cause more is coming! 😂)

Compassion and kindness are so important in dire times like this. Practise more of them and continue to spread positivity everyday.

It’s really not so bad after all :)
